Homeschool Syllabus for First Steps in Arabic Grammar

My older kids and I and a good friend of mine are using First Steps in Arabic Grammar by Iqra.  I really like the book but feel I need to supplement it with more activities. So as we go along, insha Allah, I am putting together a set of lesson plans for us to follow and thought they might be useful for others.

 

Here is a breakdown of our tentative schedule:

 

Week 1: Lessons 1, 2

Week 2: Lessons 3, 4

Week 3: Review, Test I

Week 4: Lessons 5, 6

Week 5: Lessons 7, 8

Week 6: Review, Test II

Week 7: Lessons 9, 10

Week 8: Lessons: 11, 12

Week 9: Review, Test III

Week 10: Lessons 13, 14

Week 11: Lessons 15, 16

Week 12: Review, Test

Week 13: Lessons 17, 18

Week 14: Lessons 19, 20

Week 15: Review, Test IV

Week 16: Lessons 21, 22

Week 17: Lessons 23, 24

Week 18: Review, Test V

Week 19: Lessons 25, 26

Week 20: Lessons 27, 28

Week 21: Review, Test VI

Week 22: Lessons 29, 30

Week 23: Lessons 31, 32

Week 24: Review, Test VII

Week 25: Final Test

    JazakaAllaahu Khair, this schedule looks good, and leaves time for other things like Qur’aan and Islamic Studies, etc.
