New Aqeedah Lesson at TJ: Greatest Name of Allah

Greatest Name of Allah Lesson

This was inspired by my Ayatul Kursi lesson, which I wrote for my older kids.  This one’s for the younger ones and its centered around just one of the concepts that are mentioned in Ayatul Kursi, the Name of Allah: Al Hayyul Qayyum.

Its reported in Tafsir Ibn Kathir that the Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said that this is the greatest  Name of Allah.  The lesson focuses on learning its meaning as well as encouraging kids to use this Name when making supplications as the Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said to supplicate Allah with this Name and it would be answered (also found in the Tafsir).

You can download it from the newly redesigned site’s Aqeedah page:

If you haven’t seen the new look, stop by!  I’ll be working on it, insha Allah throughout the summer, so please excuse broken links and inconsistency. You can see what’s going on in the What’s New section on the front page:

( I was just on the page, and was able to download the file, but returned and the old new page is showing up. When you visit the main page, you should see an entry for 7/19. If you don’t, that’s the old page, and in that case the file might show up as missing. Not sure why this happened, but please try back again a little later and it may fix itself or what not).
