Use it as a progress chart as new parts of salaat are learned or as a review sheet

Here are the milestones included on each chart:

 

  1. Know the names of the five daily prayers in order

Know how many rakahs are in each prayer

Know the names of the prayer positions

 

  1. Can say the Takbeer correctly

Know what the Takbeer means

Can open the prayer with the Takbeer

 

  1. Know Where the Qiblah is in my house

Know that the Kabah is the qiblah

 

4. Know what a sutrah is

Know what I can use for a sutrah

Know that my prayer doesn’t count without a sutrah

 

  1. Know how to place my hands in qiyaaam

Know where to look in qiyaam

 

  1. Can name 4 things that break my prayer

 

  1. Know an opening duaa

*Know what my opening duaa means

 

  1. Can recite Fatihah

 

  1. Know what to say in rukoo

Know what the rukoo adhkaar means

Can bend in rukoo correctly

 

10. Know what to say when standing up from rukoo

Know what it means

 

11. Know how to make sujood correctly

Know what to say in sujood

 

12. Know what to say when when in sitting after sujood

Know what it means

Know how to sit in between the two sujoods

 

13. Know how to say the first tashahud

Know what each part of the tashahud means

 

14. Know how to send salaat alaan Nabiyy ()

Know what it means

 

15. Know how to pray Salatul Fajr

Know how to pray Salatul Dhuhr

Know how to pray Salatul Asr

Know how to pray Salatul Maghrib

Know how to pray Salatul Ishaa

 

16. Know how to seek refuge with four things

 

17. Know a supplication before salaam

 

18. Know how to salaam out

 

19. Know how to make dhikr after prayer
